These are the ages of creation…
Endarra:Before everything, the gods dreamed.
Anrhefndreamed of chaos and disorder and constant change
Dritadreamed of light, and a source of light.
Tokadreamed of a solid surface, rocks and soil and earth.
Ujidreamed of water, seas and rivers and lakes.
Jetadreamed of living things to explore the new creation
Vdekjadreamed of the end of life, and rebirth.
Aerdreamed of the sky, and the air
Zjarridreamed of fire and heat and warmth
Hijadreamed of places hidden from the light, shadows and darkness
Urdhridreamed of order, everything in its place and at its allotted time.
Adhurim:And then the gods awoke, and saw that all they had dreamed was made real, and they delighted in their creation.
Anrhefndelighted in the unpredictability and ever changing nature of the world.
Dritadelighted in the light, and the sun, and the moon.
Tokadelighted in the mountains and caves and metals.
Ujidelighted in the rain and the clouds and the waves.
Jetadelighted in the diversity of life, and the actions of the living.
Vdekjadelighted in the cycle of life, and death and rebirth of living things.
Aerdelighted in the wind and the breath of the living, and in rainbows.
Zjarridelighted in the heat of the sun, and the warmth of the earth and the living.
Hijadelighted in the night, and the shadowy forests and the deep places of the world.
Urdhridelighted in the connectedness of everything, and the reliance of one thing upon another.
Deshira:But the gods began to find fault with their creation, and desired more.
Anrhefndesired ever more change and chaos.
Dritadesired that all be exposed to the light, and nothing be hidden.
Tokadesired ever taller mountains, impervious to the weathering of other elements.
Ujidesired that all be reduced by waters, and the water should cover all.
Jetadesired ever more and varying forms of life.
Vdekjadesired to know what came beyond death, being unable to experience it himself.
Aerdesired all be reduced to air.
Zjarridesired ever hotter and more fierce fire, and for everything to burn.
Hijadesired that all light be extinguished forever, and all be hidden in shadows
Urdhridesired everything to be ordered and still.
Deshperim:And the gods came to despair of their realm ever achieving their desires.
Anrhefndespaired of ever achieving chaos.
Dritadespaired of seeing all, or of ever dispelling the shadows.
Tokadespaired at seeing the earth forever rent by other forces.
Ujidespaired at the waters inability to overcome the land.
Jetadespaired at ever exploring all of life’s forms before death took them.
Vdekjadespaired at the finality of death, and his inability to discover more.
Aerdespaired at the insubstantial nature of the air, and the fact that it must give way before all others.
Zjarridespaired at the exhaustible nature of fire, and the constant need for fuel.
Hijadespaired at ever escaping the light.
Urdhridespaired at the ever changing nature of the world.
And the gods decided to leave the world, and to part and create their own realms, apart from each other. And they created an amalgam of their aspects to remain behind, and to watch over their first world. This one was called Elu, which is The Watcher, and then the gods left, and their creation was allowed to continue, under the gaze of Elu.
